An end, or many new beginnings?
Generations Together Project Gateshead has seen many good times come and go over the past year or so! Sadly though this project, like all projects must, is finally drawing to a close.
All four strands of the project have had their highlights and have overcome problems their share of problems at some point. Now is the time to reflect on all of the good work that the project has achieved!
Have you been part of the Generations Together Gateshead project? Tell us your highlights! Write down your best bits, worst bits, and feel free to tell us what your Generations Together experience has been like!
But, as March ends, April begins. From the project many more new paths have been created and are now being prepared to be followed. New friendships have been forged which will bloom and mature. The intergenerational gap has been challenge and won’t look quite so large now for a proportion of the population of Gateshead! Groups and organisations that have been inspired by the project are now moving on to different projects together with new goals and contacts formed.
No matter what part of the project you were involved in, please tell us what you’re planning on doing next! Where are you going? What are you doing? Has the project inspired you to further close the intergenerational gap, or has it sparked some other idea or project you wish to pursue?
Please leave a comment below and help to give Generations Together Gateshead the best send off it could possibly deserve!

Just to let you know that I have managed to find some work for the English Football Association, and will be starting at the beginning of May!
Hi Everyone! After taking part in the GT project I’ve been inspired to join a group called Truth About Youth! Truth About Youth are a group of young people who are setting out to try and change the negative perceptions of young people. Outside of my normal 9-5 job, I’m going to be volunteering my time with them from here on out!
Goodbye GT!! Goodbye Soul Soup!
Jessica
P.S. I can’t wait for the recipe book ^_^
