Soul Soup update – exhibition launch
Tommorow marks the official opening of the newly refurbished Gateshead Library and The Gallery – a community arts space open for the public to enjoy.
Soul Soup is going to be launching tonight one of it’s 13 projects as an exhibition in the space called Grow. Grow saw local, young, artists from The Shed arts space matched up with older local artists to creative collaborative art pieces to go in the space. A common theme has emerged from all of the artists as being a collective maritime theme.
Also going up in the library, on the floor above The Gallery, will be images and descriptions of each Soul Soup project so far. If you’ve been involved in a Soul Soup project or not – go and have a look at what else the projec has been up to!
